I compared Christian Faith Publishing to other publishing options and the one aspect I noticed is that Christian Faith has fewer titles on the market than the others. I completely understand that at the time I started this publishing process Christian Faith was in their second or third year but it also indicated a “True” selectivity of the manuscripts they publish. I am very proud to be in their catalog of titles and have had a wonderful experience working with everyone on the team.

Youth For Christ
Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
Every day throughout OKC at community centers, high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts, YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. We are rural and urban and we are always about the message of Jesus. What we do is more than bring students to church, although that is important for us. We create an awareness of the decision-making ability they have with their own culture, education, relationship with God and personal values. We put students in relationships with caring adult leaders, mentors, interns and staff, as well as with each other.
Ministries like YFC need capital to make all of this possible and each year Brian Hill and his staff at "YFC OKC WEST" throw the most creative and exciting fund raising event we have seen to date. This last week Christian Faith Publishing was proud to be invited to and participate in YFC West's 2016 Clay Classic. It is a great event because it impacts the lives of some amazing kids while having a blast in a sporting clay tournament. The event is held at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports, which is a top of the line facility. Our hats go off to Brian Hill and his staff for all that they do and the impact they have decided to make in their community. With a vision to Disciple students and tech them to become influencers for the the Kingdom on their school campuses and in their World, they are truly making an impact one student at a time!
Also take a look at Impact Magazine which is another one of Brian Hill's projects to reach the community!

CFP Proudly Supports Community Literacy Centers
Last week CFP was proud to be invited to a fantastic charity event that had not been on our radar in the previous years. Community Literacy Centers hosted their annual fundraising event Literacy Live 2016. We were instantly moved by what the centers mission is and wanted to take just a minute to share. Below is a little bit of information about who and what Community Literacy Center is and a picture from last weeks event, but if you would like more information please visit their website www.communityliteracy.com.
CLC:
Established in 1987, Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching adults to read. Since its inception, CLC has helped more than 35,000 individuals. We partner with over 28 agencies in Oklahoma City to reach those who need assistance. We offer basic skills, English as a Second Language and also provide tutor training and workshops for volunteers.
Community Literacy Centers is a place where adults learn to read in a safe, welcoming environment. For many adults, CLC provides a second chance at life and opens new doors of opportunity.
We provide free classroom instruction to more than 1,000 adults each year in reading and writing. We also provide individual tutoring for students needing additional support.
At Community Literacy Centers, students are surrounded by people who truly care about them. Many of the adults who come to CLC have heartbreaking stories about their experiences as non-readers. When adults come to us, they are often ashamed of their circumstances and need a lot of reassurance. They need to know that they can become self-sufficient adults. They also must know that we will not give up on them.
The fact is CLC is quietly changing lives in our community every day.
We operate with private contributions and we do it very efficiently. We are committed to applying sound educational principles with a business perspective to create the most innovative, cost-efficient means to teach adults to read.
