I was so excited when this book arrived! I met the author a few months ago while we were both visiting at a nursing home. I had my infant, Cami, with me. She told me about the book and one of the characters, also named Cammy. The pictures are beautiful and very unique. There are so many descriptive words, it's perfect for a young child's growing vocabulary and also makes you feel like you are there with the animals exploring all of GOD's wonderful creations. I will be purchasing a 2nd book as a gift for a teacher at a Christian preschool. The loving mommy and daddy are mentioned a few times, it could be a great conversation starter for a unit on GOD made families, some have a loving mommy and daddy and others have someone else who loves and cares for them. *Spoiler alert, the last page is the very best part! I hope to see more books from Pam Watson on my children's bookshelves. ~ WhimsyEveryday
Pam Watson has the biggest and sweetest heart. She has taken the animals of the loveliest household and made them live again through her eyes, showing us how to look up and know you are loved! I can't wait for her next book to see what adventure they take next! Every child needs a copy of this book. ~ J. Lowe
